Penny
Lloyd
Penny
Lloyd has been painting in the Radstock area, near Bath,
for over twenty years. She trained at Croydon College
of Art in the sixties.
She
started doing flower portraits in the 1980s and will paint
any flower to order in both oil and watercolour. Penny's
specialities are irises and peonies.
Her
other interest is the landscape, especially the Somerset
area where she lives and paints. Penny enjoys going out
into the landscape to observe the ever-changing weather
patterns. Her work is representational, but she is constantly
looking to change and simplify the images she makes.
Penny
exhibits with the National Acrylic Painters Association,
Chilcompton Art Club and Old Bakery Artists, set up by
North East Somerset Arts, and is a member of Frome Art
Society.
