Susan Macey

Having studied art at school, and with encouragement from family members – one of whom was an Art Mistress, I continued to paint intermittently until taking early retirement from a career in Nursing. Since then painting has become an all consuming passion. I usually paint landscapes in watercolours and pastels but occasionally use oils. I also like to try my hand with flowers and animals and have enjoyed Classes and workshops using various media and techniques. I run the Timsbury Art Group but enjoy the challenge of working alongside professionals in the OBA. I have been exhibiting and selling work for the past 17 years in various venues in Somerset and Bath.
